1. Introduction

PRIMETHIC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") owns and operates Connect EC, including its mobile applications, websites, hiring alignment tools, assessments, reports, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy explains how PRIMETHIC collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and other applicable data protection laws.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

2. About Connect EC

Connect EC is a hiring alignment platform developed and operated by PRIMETHIC.

Connect EC helps Candidates, Recruiters, and Employers improve hiring decisions through alignment assessments, hiring workflows, visibility tools, engagement insights, predictive indicators, scheduling systems, and hiring coordination features.

Connect EC may provide hiring-related analytics, alignment assessments, alignment reports, predictive indicators, engagement signals, and workflow recommendations intended to improve hiring visibility, coordination, and decision-making. These insights are intended to support users and should not be treated as the sole basis for employment or hiring decisions.

To operate efficiently and improve service quality, PRIMETHIC processes personal data through Connect EC and related services in accordance with global privacy principles, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable regulations. This Privacy Policy applies to all users worldwide.

PRIMETHIC may develop additional products, services, assessments, analytics, reports, and alignment systems that operate under the same privacy principles described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to Connect EC and other services operated by PRIMETHIC unless a separate privacy policy is expressly provided.

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering or using the Platform, including your name, phone number, email address, resume details, education, work experience, skills, profile photographs, uploaded documents, employer or recruiter identification details, job preferences, application history, and identity verification information where required. This information enables us to provide hiring and recruitment services effectively.

4. Behavioural and Usage Information

To enhance platform performance and hiring outcomes, we collect behavioural and activity-related data such as interview scheduling activity, feedback exchanged between users, engagement levels, EC Scores, Alignment Scores, Alignment Status, Alignment Board participation and rankings, clickstream data, navigation patterns, time spent on the Platform, and hiring funnel progression.

Behavioural and usage information may also include responses provided during alignment assessments, hiring scenarios, platform interactions, communication patterns, scheduling activity, engagement signals, and workflow participation.

Such information may be used to generate EC Scores, Alignment Scores, Alignment Status, Alignment Board rankings, alignment insights, hiring visibility indicators, engagement trends, and predictive signals designed to improve hiring coordination and user experience.

5. Device and Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical and device-related information, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, browser information (for website users), crash reports, diagnostics data, system logs, and network performance metrics. This data is used to maintain platform security, stability, and performance.

6. App Permissions

Subject to your explicit consent, the Platform may request optional permissions such as access to your camera for profile images, storage for uploading resumes or documents, microphone for voice-based features, location for relevant job suggestions and fraud prevention, contacts for referrals, and social accounts for login or profile import. Denial of optional permissions may restrict certain features, but will not prevent basic access to the Platform.

7. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data strictly for legitimate and lawful purposes, including matching candidates with suitable job opportunities, enabling employers and recruiters to identify relevant talent, improving interview scheduling efficiency, providing hiring insights and predictive indicators, enabling in-app communication and notifications, personalizing user experience, improving platform performance, preventing fraud and misuse, securing the Platform, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties. We do not use personal data for unrelated advertising purposes.

7A. Alignment Assessments, Reports, and Automated Insights

PRIMETHIC processes personal data through Connect EC and related services. Connect EC may generate alignment assessments, alignment reports, EC Scores, Alignment Scores, Alignment Status, Alignment Board rankings, engagement indicators, predictive insights, workflow recommendations, scheduling indicators, and hiring visibility signals using information provided by users and platform activity.

These outputs are intended to assist decision-making and improve hiring visibility and coordination. They should not be treated as guarantees, employment decisions, legal advice, professional advice, or the sole basis for hiring decisions.

Users remain responsible for their own recruitment, employment, and hiring decisions. Alignment assessments, predictive indicators, engagement signals, and recommendations are designed to support hiring workflows and platform coordination. They do not determine employment eligibility, suitability, selection, promotion, compensation, or other employment decisions.

8. Legal Basis for Processing

Personal data is processed based on lawful grounds, including your freely given consent, purpose-based processing necessary for providing Platform services, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. You may withdraw your consent at any time through app settings or by contacting us via email. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.

9. Sharing of Information

PRIMETHIC does not sell personal data, behavioural data, alignment assessment results, EC Scores, Alignment Scores, Alignment Status, Alignment Board rankings, engagement indicators, predictive insights, or user-generated hiring information to unrelated third parties for commercial purposes.

Personal data may be shared with Employers and Recruiters when a Candidate applies for a role, expresses interest, or participates in hiring workflows. Shared data may include profile information, job-related activity, hiring journey status, and other information necessary to facilitate hiring coordination and decision-making.

We may also share data with trusted third-party service providers, including analytics providers, hosting providers, communication service providers, authentication providers, and security partners, who act as Data Processors and are contractually obligated to process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and applicable laws.

9A. Platform Visibility and Recognition Features

Connect EC includes participation, recognition, alignment, and hiring coordination features that may display certain user information, EC Scores, Alignment Scores, Alignment Status, Alignment Board rankings, participation indicators, hiring signals, and related Platform outputs to authorized users within the Connect EC ecosystem, subject to the user's role, permissions, and participation within the Platform.

Such visibility and recognition features are intended operational functions of the Platform designed to support alignment, coordination, transparency, trust, engagement, and hiring decision-making across Candidates, Recruiters, and Employers.

10. Legal and Business Disclosures

We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority, or as part of compliance investigations. In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals below eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If a minor account is identified, it will be deleted promptly.

12. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure servers, access controls, monitoring, and regular audits. While we take reasonable steps to protect personal data, no system is completely secure, and users acknowledge the inherent risks of online platforms.

13. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, detect fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, personal data will be deleted or anonymised, except where retention is required by law or regulatory obligations.

14. Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete your personal data, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing communications, request details of data processing activities, and nominate another individual to act on your behalf in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Requests may be submitted to hello@connectec.app, subject to identity verification. You may also seek grievance redressal and withdraw previously granted consent in accordance with applicable law.

15. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your personal data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards, lawful transfer mechanisms, and compliance with cross-border data transfer requirements under the DPDP Act and other applicable regulations.

16. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to users, PRIMETHIC will notify  affected individuals and relevant regulatory authorities, including India’s Data Protection Board where applicable, in accordance with legal requirements.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect feature enhancements, security updates, or legal developments. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or email. Continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
